AtlantaGist aims to publish accurate, fair and timely news. We report original stories from our own reporting, interviews, photos and video wherever possible. Where we report on a story first published elsewhere, we name and link to the original source. We do not publish a claim as fact unless we have checked it against a primary source or a credible news outlet. If we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and clearly on the same article, noting what was changed and when. Readers can report an error to news@atlantagist.net. Opinion is labelled as opinion. We do not publish unverified rumours as news, and we do not use AI-generated images or video presented as real events or real people.
